 ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရး ႏိုဘယ္ဆုသည္ ဆီြဒင္ႏိုင္ငံသား တီထြင္သူႏွင္႕ စက္မႈ ပညာရွင္ အဲလ္ဖရက္ဘန္းဟာ့ဒ္ ႏိုဘယ္ (Adfred Bernhard Nobel)မွ   ေပးအပ္ခ်ီးျမွင္႕ေသာ  ႏိုဘယ္ဆု (၅)ဆု အနက္မွ တစ္ခုျဖစ္သည္။   ႏိုဘယ္၏ ေသတမ္းစာ အရ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရးႏိုဘယ္ဆုကို   ႏိုင္ငံမ်ား အၾကား အင္အားစုမ်ား စစ္ေျပၿငိမ္းေစျခင္း၊ ထိပ္တိုက္ရင္ဆိုင္   ျဖစ္ျခင္းေလ်ာ႔ပါးေစျခင္း ႏွင္႕ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရး   ျမွင့္တင္သူ ႏွင့္ ထိန္းသိမ္းႏိုင္သူတို႔ကို ဤၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရး ႏိုဘယ္ဆု ေပးအပ္ခ်ီးျမွင့္ရန္ ေရးသားထားခဲ့သည္။

အဲလ္ဖရက္ ႏိုဘယ္၏ ေသတမ္းစာအရ ႏိုဘယ္ဆုကို ေနာ္ေဝႏိုင္ငံ ပါလီမန္မွ ခ်ီးျမွင့္ရမည္ဟု ေရးသားထားခဲ့ျခင္းေၾကာင့္ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရး ႏိုဘယ္ဆုကို ႏွစ္စဥ္တိုင္း ေနာ္ေဝႏိုင္ငံ၏ ၿမိဳ႕ေတာ္ ေအာ္စလိုၿမိဳ႕တြင္ ဆုေပးပြဲ အခမ္းအနားျဖင့္ ေပးအပ္ ခ်ီးျမွင့္သည္။ ႏိုဘယ္ ကြယ္လြန္ခဲ႕သည္႕ ဒီဇင္ဘာလ ၁ဝ ရက္ေန႕တြင္ ဆုေပးပြဲ အစဥ္သျဖင့္က်င္းပသည္။ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရး ႏိုဘယ္ဆုကို ေအာ္စလိုၿမိဳ႕ရွိ ေနာ္ေ၀းဂ်ီယံႏိုဘယ္ေကာ္မတီ(Norwegian Nobel Committee) တာ၀န္ယူ ေဆာင္ရြက္ရသည္။
