The Peaceful Unification of the Korean Peninsula

“I support the peaceful unification of the Korean Peninsula.”

I applaud determination of the leaders of North and South Korea to hold a historic summit, which laid the foundation for peace cessation of war on the Korean Peninsula.

It was an emotional moment for the whole world when the two leaders joined hands and crossed the Military Demarcation line freely. We are eager to see this moment turn into lasting peace. To do so, guns pointed at each other should be withdrawn, and citizens of North and South Korea should be allowed to travel freely throughout the peninsula.

Mr. Man Hee Lee, the the chairman of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) and a veteran of the Korean War, is making unparalleled efforts for peace travelling around the world as many as 26 times. As a solution to achieving peace. He proclaimed the Declaration of peace and Cessation of War (DPCW), and his peace activities raised hopes that peace is actually possible.

As a person who supportsd and participates in HWPL’s peace movement, I believe that HWPL’s peace activities are exerting a good influence in various ways.

I look forward to seeing a new era of national reconciliation, peace and prosperity bring the unification of the Peninsula and transform Korea into a republic of peace.
